We were blown away to find out how much most real estate brokerages were wasting each month on print advertising in the local newspaper, and even more blown away to find out how little their return on investment was. So when we were approached by one of the local brokerages about building a website that would help generate more leads for less cost, and provide users a way to easily sort through all of the open houses in the area, we jumped at the opportunity. Not only were we excited about creating a new portal for all local open house listings, but we were excited that the site owner was prepared to do it correctly. By that, we mean it would be easy to 'slop' through a site like this, but it's much harder to take the time to thoroughly think through every step in the process to make sure that this site would lead the way. That's exactly what we've done with BNOpen.com: lead the way.
This site has been through an initial design, which included a system that encouraged real estate agents from any brokerage to manually enter their open house information, and it's received a "Phase II upgrade" that now pulls open house data from an automatic feed that agents already use. This has simplified and automated the data management process, making the data more up-to-date with less hassle in terms of manual data entry. We've also added a Google Maps system to the search results, so that when someone searches through the available open house listings, the results can be mapped and the user can narrow their results to a specific geographic area.
Here is what BJ Armstrong (the site owner) and Courtney Monaco (the site manager) had to say about our work on this project:
"We want to thank Cybernautic for creating BNOpen.com. Throughout four projects and many years of working with you and your team, we have been continually impressed. You have an amazing ability to provide unique, creative and simple web solutions."
