This is the second website that First Site has hired Cybernautic to produce. The first website brought First Site up to speed with online listings and scheduling appointments online. This went over so well, that a few years later they had us update their corporate website. This is the result: Online listings, online appointment schedule, online payment, online video tour, 3D floorplans, online driving directions, printable versions of each apartment profile, instantly updatable listings via the Cybernautic CMS, and a plethora of other cool features that get apartments rented for First Site!
Putting Tenants First
During the design of this website, something First Site wanted to emphasize was the large list of tenant testimonials from students to professionals. They came to us with a photo and quote from numerous First Site renters, and this eventually became the foundation for the new website layout. At the top of every page on the site we've featured a different set of testimonials including cut out photos in front of First Site's buildings and a quote from the tenant.
Mapping it All Out
First Site manages hundreds of units, and mapping that out can be complicated. Cybernautic teamed up with Google to create a Google Maps Mash-up that drops a pinpoint on the location of each property First Site manages onto a map of the area. Users can then click the pinpoint on the map to get more information about each apartment. They can also click a list of available property to the right of the map to highlight each location on the map. This feature is essential for students that wants to stay close to ISU's campus. They can simply look at the map and decide how far from campus they are willing to stay. Another great Web 2.0 innovation from Cybernautic that connects end users with one of our clients to improve revenue. Now First Site rents most of their units through online leads via the website.
Web Video Drives Sales
First Site commissioned Cybernautic to produce several simple video testimonials to promote their most popular properties. Those promo videos were designed for the web but if you go to First Site's main office, you will find those videos playing on a loop in their waiting room. These have been incredibly effective in terms of showing off the property and producing the ultimate end result...rented apartments!
