When the International Union of Operating Engineers contacted Cybernautic about redesigning their website, they were looking for a serious visual upgrade. We reviewed their existing website and after meeting with them found that they wanted something completely different. In fact the only thing they hoped to keep was the logo. Part of the problem with the old website was that it was not designed to "W3C web standards": so as Microsoft releases new versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox, and other browser companies release new versions of their browsers, the website stopped working because the code was not written to accommodate approved standards. The ability to meet standards is something often overlooked by most small business owners and organization directors when they are choosing a new web design company. Just a few weeks later, our designers presented the new visual layouts, and IUOE was thrilled! The new layout visually achieved everything they were hoping for, plus our standards-based code will significantly extend the shelf-life of their new website.
IUOE649 was even more excited to discover how easy it is to update their new website with the Cybernautic Content Management System. In just a few clicks, they are able to update text and photos on the website. What's even better than that is how little training was required to start using the Cybernautic Content Management System. Now IUOE649 has a great looking website which is easy to update whenever they want.
