The new National Corn Growers Association website is a giant leap forward for the nation's voice for corn growers. The new website not only includes a massive re-branding and intuitive interface, but there's more under the hood than one might expect. Every page on the main site has a mobile counterpart and both sites (mobile and desktop) feed from the same content management system. This means the NCGA staff can update text in one location and have that change reflected on the desktop site AND the mobile site. This reduces overhead and makes updating really easy! We've tied in social integration with Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and RSS feeds on almost every page. We've designed the site to accomodate micro campaign pages. Due to the vast amount of informational resources, we took advantage of Google Custom Site Search to make it easy for users to find what they're looking for on the main site OR on the mobile site. And list goes on and on. But in the end the new NCGA.com website is a giant leap forward for the National Corn Growers Association and we're proud to have worked with them to develop such an incredible resource for their members and the public.
The NCGA website ranked fairly well before the redesign, due in large part to the size of the National Corn Growers Association, but after the redesign they ranked amazingly well! Most people don't realize the important of well organized, cleanly written code in terms of SEO value. We went to great lengths to make sure the code was organized and clean, just the way Google likes it and now if you search for "US Corn" the NCGA is at the top and if you search for "Corn" it's just one step below the Wikipedia entry for "Corn." Corn is a really tough keyword to top, but with a little 'Cybernautic Engineering' we were able to make it a reality!
The Cybernautic staff has a reputation for serving their communities and the world so we were eager to help the National Corn Growers Association redevelop their website. The NCGA is the "voice to the world" for the corn growers of America. Cybernautic is thrilled to work with an organization that works tirelessly to feed the world through corn exports as well as fueling the new economy with renewable energy like Ethanol!
Here is what Ken Colombini, Communications Director for the National Corn Growers Association had to say about working with Cybernautic on http://ncga.com and the NCGA mobile site http://mobile.ncga.com:
"We made a great choice in selecting Cybernautic for our website redesign. Throughout the process, their team worked seamlessly with ours to ensure the final product reflected our brand and provided our visitors with an intuitive interface. Their staff was attentive, focusing on our specific needs as an organization while creating a website that serves our unique needs. The compliments we've received since the launch mirror our appreciation of their work."
