Roxy's Hair Studio is a one woman, home-based operation and it's a GREAT example of how we can provide outstanding service at an affordable price. Roxy operates a full service hair salon from her home, and she wanted a website that would allow her to compete with much bigger salons in her area. After consulting with her, we realized that she had a small budget for the website, so our goal was to build a website that would deliver results on a tight budget. We helped her identify the pages that would be most important to her site visitors, while eliminating pages that seemed less necessary in order to keep costs under control. This allowed us to focus on designing a really exciting looking website while providing users with all of the essential information that they would need in order to make an informed decision about Roxy's services. Online Appointment Scheduling
Because Roxy's Hair Studio is a small, home-based business, we were not able to produce a custom tool for online appointment scheduling. But that doesn't mean we just gave up. In fact the opposite was true; we worked with Roxy to find a great free online tool provided by a third party to allow her site visitors to schedule appointments online. Now the majority of her customers book their appointments online. Her clients love it because they can see her availability 24 hours a day and they can reschedule their appointments whenever they need to if something should come up. PLUS, the system will automatically email Roxy's clients the day before their appointment to remind them that they have an appointment coming up. This has significantly reduced the number of 'no-shows.' But what Roxy likes most about the Online Scheduling system is that once her business grows to a certain point, she can upgrade her services so her clients can pre-pay for their appointment when they schedule it. This would allow her to accept credit cards and would reduce the overhead of dealing with cash payments in the salon, so she can focus more time on making her clients look great!
