This is the third website Cybernautic has produced for SAMI – Student Apartment Mart, Inc. We originally designed a website for them in 2004 that gave them the ability to manage their apartments online and allowed their tenants to pay their rent online. At the time this was a huge leap forward for them.
Soon thereafter, they wanted to take advantage of the social web, so we built a website called SAMI Cribs that was built around a social media campaign that allowed students to create their “MTV Cribs-like” videos of their apartment and upload the videos to SAMI’s website. Then students could vote on who had the coolest video. We kicked this off by producing around 25 sample videos that also doubled as video virtual tours. The idea was to allow students to create virtual tours for them while generating some social buzz about their apartments. Then students would be rewarded with incredible prizes like an all expenses paid trip to Florida for spring break.
Then in 2010 SAMI decided it was time to update the look and feel of their corporate website (www.sami.com). We’re thrilled when our work helps companies grow, and we’re even more thrilled when we can redesign websites for our customers as their needs change.
Marc Elder, from SAMI says:
“Cybernautic continues to excel above my expectations. Their knowledge of the industry has proven to be quite valuable. They do a great job of seeing things from the client's side of the table and are able to take our concepts and put them into action. I always look forward to our meetings to see what other great ideas they may have that will help us in our business. The Cybernautic Team have been an incredible asset to our company.”
