The Woods At Milikin

The Woods at Millikin in Decatur, Illinois is a huge off-campus student housing complex. The apartments are fully loaded with all of the modern amenities that college students attending Millikin would want. 

Testimonials Speak Volumes

They wanted a 'cool' website that used Millikin Blue as the anchor color, strategically placed testimonials and photos of actual renters, as well as an assortment of apartment details for students. We worked with their staff to gather the testimonials and photos and we used them in the main image at the top of page to highlight the fact that students that had lived there highly recommended The Woods. The power of a testimonial can be incredible, and we aimed to make that the centerpiece of this layout.

Virtual Video Tour

Another important component of this website was Web Video. The staff at The Woods really wanted students to be able to see the apartments and all available amenities including the Movie Theater, Pool, Homework Room, and Play Room. Immediately we suggested web video and we sent our videographer to Decatur for two separate shoots to gather all of the necessary material. The web video ended up being a crucial part of this website and one of the most viewed components of the entire website. This just goes to show that internet users are hungry for web video and that's something that Cybernautic can deliver!
